If you enable/use scan history, the App stores scanned results (e.g., text/URLs) locally on your device to show your history and allow you to clear it. We do not upload this history to any server.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads using Google AdMob. Ad providers may collect or process certain information automatically to show ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud. This may include:

Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID)
Approximate location (inferred from IP, depending on your device settings)
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
Diagnostic information (crash logs, performance)

This data is processed by Google according to Google’s privacy policies.

5. How We Use Information

Enable QR/barcode scanning functionality
Show scan history locally on your device
Display ads and measure ad performance
Maintain and improve the App (diagnostics)

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with third parties only as necessary to provide ads through Google AdMob, subject to Google’s policies.

7. Data Retention

Scan history is stored locally and remains until you delete it from within the App (e.g., “Clear History”) or uninstall the App.
Advertising/diagnostic data handled by Google is retained according to Google’s policies.

8. Your Choices and Controls

Revoke the camera permission in your device settings (scanning will not work without it).
Clear scan history from within the App (if history is enabled).
Reset or limit ad personalization from your device settings (where available).

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
